For this prototype, the primary gesture involved is "hi-fiving" an image of a food shown on a monitor. This design is for dining hall

and buffet settings and the system is located at the end of the line of food. This design uses multiple gestures to indicate

different things. If the user sees an image of a food that he likes, he hi-fives it. To indicate that he does not like a particular

dish, he makes an 'X' with his arms. If he does not want to give feedback at all for a particular dish, he can wave his hand to the

left and a new food image will show up.

Motivations:

- Since the system will be located in the food line, users will see it while they are getting their food so they would not have to go out of their way to use it.

- The design makes use of very natural feedback gestures such as the hi-five and the hand wave.

- Users have the option to abstain from rating a particular dish, so their is a lot of freedom on the user's part.

- Most people already know if they like a particular dish before eating it, so giving feedback before eating a dish will be most of the times the same as giving feedback afterwards
